President

“With over 40 years experience I’ve learned a lot.” The best part, he’s still learning new things every day. Being second generation in the business, one thing is for sure, the lumber business is always changing. Since starting Prime Forest Product, LLC Brad and his team have had great success and will continue moving forward with a bright future. He is committed to creating a solid foundation for the next generation of lumber professionals.
Brad loves spending time with his family, as well as Pilates, Yoga and outdoor activities. Such as hunting, fishing and adventures with his side-kick, Timber.

Lucas Rodakowski

LUCAS RODAKOWSKI

Vice President


Currently, our new Vice President and Product Specialist. With a degree in Marketing Entrepreneurship from, British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Lucas now sits on the board to stimulate company growth and development. While coordinating the new implementation of projects.
Born and raised a true Oregonian, Lucas recently got married on top of Mt. Hood in 2021. He lives for snowboarding, the outdoors and trying new experiences.

Dan Paldino

DAN PALDINO

Controller, CPA

Dan is the Controller for Prime Forest Products. He is responsible for accounting, reporting and ensuring that the company makes sound financial decisions every day. He started working with Prime Forest Products in January of 2019. His past experience in the forest products industry and as a Certified Public Accountant makes him a great fit for his position with the company.
Dan, his wife, and three children enjoy spending time together, participating in youth sports and are involved in other activities within the community.

Human Resources Administrator and Logistics Support
Brookes management background in retail operations and logistics provided the perfect segue to join Prime Forest in 2020. She is an avid learner and is fascinated by the vastness of the lumber industry. She was thrilled to participate in NAWLA Wood Basics Course in 2021.
In addition to her focus on keeping product moving, Brooke brings positivity, humor, and support to the whole Prime Forest Team in her role as Human Resource Administrator.

Mark Rodakowski

MARK RODAKOWSKI

Product Specialist

Mark studied Science in college, shortly after that he was presented with an opportunity to move to Oregon and check out the lumber Industry. Spent time working in a mill learning about lumber before moving into the office into sales and purchasing.
Mark grew up as an Army brat, he was born in Germany and lived all up and down the east coast. Outside of work you can find Mark camping at mountain lakes, snowboarding on Mt. hood, or at a concert with some friends.

Ian Kelly

IAN KELLY

Product Specialist

Ian specializes in creating custom programs for industrial manufacturers and wholesale distributors. Originally from Dublin Ireland. He has been living in the United States since 2015. Arriving firstly in the San Francisco Bay Area working in retail lumber, then moved up to Oregon in 2017 to further his career in the forest products industry working for Prime. Ian is a Board Member of Irish Network Portland and rows crew for Portland Boat Club.

Mike began his career as a laborer, learning machine set up, operation and maintenance, prior to becoming a millwright. He was fortunate from that point to become a supervisor of a 5 saw chop-lines cutting Ponderosa Pine. He continued his growth and became a plant manager for the first time at the age of 27.
Mike added sales and purchasing to his wheelhouse out of necessity 25 years ago and truthfully, as a production guy for so long he fought the transition before finally seeing how well these positions fit together. He is now fortunate to be able to discuss operations in all facets of the secondary manufacturing industry.

Tami Bauer

Inventory & Trade Compliance Manager

Tami is presently our Inventory and Trade Compliance Manager. Tami has 35+ years of experience in the wood products field. Due to her years of experience, Tami is instrumental in training our Team members.
Tami is a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She is a proud mother of 2 young men who are 4th generation Oregon State University graduates.
She enjoys weekend getaways to Central Oregon and the Oregon Coast with her twin sister, family, and friends. Her and her husband of 27+ years plan on traveling to Germany, New Zealand, and Australia within the next 10 years

Inventory Analyst

After being at Prime and in the Lumber industry for the past three years Beth has grown her knowledge and experience. Taking every opportunity to learn more, she participated in Wood Basics thru NAWLA and this year is on the Education Committee to build more contacts and see other avenues in the Lumber industry. One of her favorite things from Wood Basics was getting to see the full process from Forest to final product. So much thought and science goes into each step, it was an amazing experience for someone newer to the industry.
Beth has two beautiful children, Lucy and Henry. In their free time her family loves to Kayak, go to the beach, play board games and read books. “I’ve lived in Oregon since I was two and I love being around the tall green trees and visiting the Oregon coast – winter or summer time!”
In the next few years, a personal goal of Beth’s is to visit a few travel locations from her bucket list: first up is New Zealand and Hawaii.

Shelley Mentzer

Shelley Mentzer

Inventory and Compliance Specialist

Shelley is our Inventory and Compliance Specialist and joined the Prime Forest team in
December of 2021.  She has a background in Operations Management and Finance and was
eager to join Prime after 5 years in lumber Logistics.  Shelley brings her keen eye for detail and
great organizational skills to the team.  A true NW Native, she enjoys all that Oregon has to offer
such as gardening, beach trips, hiking and cooking.  On sunny weekends, you may see her on
the golf course or a winery or both!

Jessica Kennedy

Plant Manager

Jessica started in the lumber industry as a stacker and grader over 4 years ago. She continued her growth with hard work and an eagerness to attain knowledge in all areas of the mill. She worked her way up to production supervisor and is currently the Plant Manager. Her next goal with Prime is to get into sales.
Jessica spends a lot of time working out so that she can indulge in fine dining and home cooked meals. She makes it a goal to do at least 1 challenging thing a year, the most recent one was the Eugene half marathon.

Matthew Schmidt


Assistant Plant Manager


Matt has 10+ years in the lumber industry working in most positions on the production level. Pulling chain, grading, knowledge and experience with equipment and machinery repair. His dream and goal is to go to school for a degree in forestry engineering.
Matt has 3 sons: Camdyn age 9, Mathias age 7, and Liam age 6. In his free time, he loves to play sand volleyball, hiking, skiing, and traveling with my wife Abby.

TIMBER RODAKOWSKI

Our 4th Generation

Timber has the best quality control sniffer in the industry, with extensive training in detecting blue stain, pitch pockets, and moisture. Timber is the mascot keeping Prime on their toes and at the top of their game.
